Been a long winter.
The first clip with the 12m Speed 3, was gusting from 20 to 30 knots, put the kite up as a test for wind strength, it has amazing depower, full trim strap plus bar out ate up most of the gnarly gusts, the big dunes are just behind the beach and it was dodgy with bullets from numerous directions. Common sense just prevailed, left the buggy in the car that day, no harm no foul.
The rest of it is just a few random clips after a long winter, with no possibility of flying in Sydney we travelled a few hours north for a couple of days and managed a quick fly, I didn’t realise how much I missed it until i put the kite up and home sweet home hanging off something with 3 wheels…….. well I can still fly a bit, thats a good start.
Will hopefully return the favour this spring and entertain my mates in Europe who produced some amazing flying this summer its the only thing that kept me from going insane watching them go big!
