World Record Broken Again – Twice

Storms were predicted, 50kt winds…..this is history being made again, the World Kite Buggying record for Beach surface has been broken yet again Dennis Aalbers broke the existing record of 111km/h and clocked 112km/h – 69.60mph on a Libre Spirit 2.6 with GT Race buggy on bigfoot wheels, then Stephan van Bommell came back with the Gold again and clocked an incredible  116.00km/h – 72.80mph, using Landsegler wheels and Peter Lynn Fury kite. This new record was the speed that stood for years by Luk Stanek, but of course that amazing speed was achieved on a dry lake bed. Congratulations to you both

Never settle, something I live by. Breaking the previous record was still fresh in my memory when I started to get anxious while looking the weather forecasts. An even bigger storm was hitting the Netherlands. Today I went to the beach with dennis and we crushed the old record! We went out with the Fury 6 in 50+ knots at ijmuiden and topped everything.

Dennis Aalbers pushed it to 112 km/h – 69.60mph and I got 116 km/h – 72.80mph. Big shout out to Dennis for joining me today in these extreme circumstances.
