03 Grasscutter Buggy

This was the first buggy that I made, I had never actually seen a buggy in the flesh and so most if not all of the work on the buggy was guess work.

The wheels were 11″, the side rails and axle were made of 33mm tube, The mudguard was made from a hard hat, and the seat was made from a flat piece of aluminium, and formed into the seat shape, the seat was quite comfy believe it or not.

I never actually ever tried the buggy out, as the more I got into kiting the more I realised this buggy didn’t quite look like other buggies out there, and so after about a year I put it on EBay and sold it for £63.00

The buyer has emailed me since and said the buggy handled well and he was really pleased with it.

The last I heard was he was emigrating to the land of OZ and taking the buggy with him.
