Landsegler – The Real Deal
My wheels from Landsegler arrived today, well packaged in a big square cardboard box from Germany, here’s what I found inside.

Unzip the bag to reveal the wheel, with side covers already fitted

20mm bearings recessed into the hub (inside)
Deeper bearing recess on the outside, this will allow any nut or bolt head to be out of view
Kenda tyres, a name we all trust
Note the covers are perfectly made for the wheels and and secured by plastic nuts and bolts

Purpose made cut-out for inflation and deflation
No zip ties here, sunken fixings hold the two covers together
The tread, enough for traction and enough to help cut through water
light-alloy rim, double-walled, anodized, 16″-100mm wide 36 spokes, stainless steel, 3mm/2,6mm, straight flat head 6mm light-alloy hub, flange 60mm, ball bearings 6004 – 42/20/12 mm between ball bearings the inner distance bushes area made from stainless steel tire 20″-4 1/4″ (nomenclature bicycle) outer diameter about 560mm (22″), about 100mm (4″) wide
weighs only ~4 kg (8.8 lb), little bit variation depending on choice of the tire
connection size for rear axle bolt is around 90mm length (rear axle bolt min. 120mm) connection size for front axle is around 120mm length
